| - I'm addicted to tea. If I don't have my cup of tea in the morning, I do the gagging thing. And when I got sick down in the States, as soon as I had tea at the airport I was fine. I swear, I'm worse than a British person! What a strange thing to be addicted to... - Last.fm's new way of scrobbling music frankly stinks. It never used to crash, now it does on a daily basis. It looks like I never listen to music anymore! I want the Tudors soundtrack so bad... Avrigus is helping with the cravings though, with it's semi-medieval theme ^^ - Still trying to get through Code Geass season one... it's good, I just always get stuck around ep 8 for some reason... Hopefully I'll be done by the time the second season comes out! - Spring anime season's list is out already. Mostly shounen fantasy series, none of which really stand out this time around... we'll see what bleachexile ends up subbing though, maybe something will catch my eye later. The only series I'm REALLY looking forward to is Vampire Knight... but I will check out Special A, Itzura na Kiss, and the Kite Liberator OVA too. Oh, and there's always Higurashi season 3, but I have to finish whatever season I'm on first... - And I have decided my dream job IS to be a programmer after all. The life style suits me. Work from home, wear whatever you want... no driving to work... with your computer all day and femme metal as loud as I want! When I finally get up to TRU, I'm going to work my butt off in those three programming classes. I may be dumb, but I'm also very dedicated when it comes to getting what I want ;) - That's all for now, it is time for some more Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino and Shigofumi! - Mood:content

| Been awhile since I posted eh? Anywho...
Steven's coming in what, nine days? Nine freaking days. There's so much left to do... gloves need hemming... dress needs hemming... and then there's all that cleaning and cooking to do. Steven, you reading this? (I highly doubt it)... YOU'RE A LOT OF WORK DUDE. :)
Another thing I have to do before he gets here is finish the two sewing projects I'm working on, since I'm going to miss that week he's here... I haven't mentioned the cargo pants to anyone yet, so allow me to describe. The print at first looks like black and grey army print, but if you look at it closely, you can see it's butterflies. It might sound dorky, but with the boots and the right jewellery, it looks pretty punky. The second project is the coolest thing I've ever made. I am speaking of course of my red plaid pleated skirt with BUCKLES. *love sigh* Alas, bad news. I put a hole in it with the fucking serger. :( HOWEVER, do not despair. I put a big black heart over it and used a red zigzag to make it look like a broken heart. It was rather symbolic I suppose (you should have seen my face when I first saw the hole). My NEXT project will be a red bubble dress. Going to wear it over the black and white striped top with the leather boots and it will be AWESOME.
The new Nightwish singer sounds good. However, the song Eva is very boring. Sounds exactly like every Elane song I've ever heard. *glares at media player* WHY are you still playing... *changes it to Xandria* "she's a vampire.." la la la.
That's all for now. - Mood:hungry

| I've lost count how much anime I've downloaded in French now... :( And when it's not in French, it's gg subs that won't play on either computer. :( :( And when it's not either of those two problems, it's a crappy anime that's just not worth watching. :( :( :( If only I was rich and could skip the whole downloading thing. And then I would buy lots of manga. Starting with Cross. Yes, life would be good. - Tags:anime

| Once, at band camp... no just kidding. But one time, in comm tech, we had a guest star to play the wise sage and he was sitting in the back room and Kyle went in there and said "yum, something smells like pizza!" and our guest star laughed and said "that's my armpits". Hahahaha. Yuck. - Mood:lazy

| As we all know, meaning me, music is my obsession... *snort* at least, it's one of them. So here's to trying new things! This time, a chart! Ooops, it's recent tracks. Well, it was supposed to be artists. I'll change it later. Right now I'm too busy... doing nothing. Downloads work now. And so I'm maxing the program out, naturally. Finally bought new clothes. And, shocking thing- they are all black and gothic! Hold the gasps, please. My dad insists he won't let me out of the house with my black nails and chains and... my make-up job *grin* but... I long for the day he realizes he's had no control over the rest of us since I was eight-ish... maybe if he wasn't a mental case neh? And that is all for today. - Mood:blank

| Somebody got me a necklace. O_O ............ ???
In other news, thanks to last.fm, I have a great many new bands. Lacuna Coil, Leaves' Eyes, and Apocolyptica were my best finds. I gave After Forever another chance and I'm glad I did. They are much better than Nightwish (sorry Amanda). Danny and Keith are insisting I be converted into a Rammstein fan. *thinks* Meh, they're okay. But I like the prettier music better.
In anime... hmmm, Please Save My Earth SUCKED. Uhhhh... geez Kim, you only watch any series you can get your paws on, THINK HARDER. Oh, watching Inuyasha. *snort* yeah, who isn't? OH. K, Full Metal Panic can go rust somewhere, but Fumoffu is freaking hilarious. That's all in anime, my brain has apparently gone poof.
Books. I finished Dragonlance. Only took me 9 months *bonks forehead* Read Angels and Demons. I was surprised- turns out all the hype is well-earned. If you like supernatural/gothic/Victorian books, A Great and Terrible Beauty is decent. I haven't bought manga in months. I'm broke. I tried to get a job, but... didn't uh, get it.
Ahh, the smell of spanish rice is in the air! That means, I must go. I leave you with a recommendation- DaVinci Code is a good movie. Yes yes, ta. - Mood:contemplative

| We are making the basement into a suite and I will be living down there. Alone. Alone alone alone. I won't be paying rent, but I buy all the groceries and stuff and am totally reliant on myself. Just the way I like it, no, need it. In case you've never been in my basement, here's what's down there: kitchen (stove and microwave shopping on Thursday!), biggest bathroom in the house, full tv setup, electric piano, table, comfy comfy couch... *dies*. As soon as I move my sleeping bag... thing..., cd player, laptop, and buy a damn phone, it will be completely livable. Sheesh, everybody just left for Cathy's concert, and I'm so excited I'm just sitting here, bouncing in the chair... singing my lungs out to "Danger Zone". AHHHHH!!! Why are we doing this? Because I can't stand living with other people and it's very distracting and depressing for me and... yeah. Basically, it's so I can get through the stress of the end of grade 11 and 12. AHHH!!! I get my OWN GROCERIES!!! I can put celery in the fridge one night and expect it to be there the next day!!! I CAN COOK WITH PASTA AND TOMATOES AND OLIVES AND NEVER HAVE TO LOOK AT ANOTHER CAN OF BEANS!!! I can open up the microwave without being blasted by the HORRID smell of hot dogs! I never have to look at Everybody Loves Raymond when I'm trying to cook or study!!! I CAN SING AWAY!!! I CAN SLEEP AT ANY TIME OF DAY WITHOUT HAVING TO LISTEN TO YELLING OR CRAP TV!!! I CAN WATCH ANIME WHENEVER!!! I CAN GET READY FOR SCHOOL ON ONE FLOOR (versus three)!!! I WILL NEVER HAVE TO CLEAN OTHER PEOPLES' DISHES!!! I CAN HAVE PRIVACY WHEN I'M ON THE PHONE!!! I CAN HAVE PEOPLE OVER WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT CATHY'S SCARY BATHROOM!!! I DON'T HAVE TO SPEND MY WEEKEND LOOKING AT CATHY'S FILTHY PURPLE BATHROBE!!! I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY THE FLIPPING PIANO!!! OMG! I CAN LISTEN TO MUSIC ON SURROUND SOUND!! I THINK I'M GOING EXPLODE WITH GLEE HERE!!! I CAN WASH THE FLOOR WITHOUT GETTING ON MY HANDS AND KNEES!!! OMG, I CAN READ ON THE COMFY COUCH WITHOUT HAVING TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE EVIL CAT!!! AHHHHH!!! I CAN HAVE ONE TEATOWEL FOR ONE TASK!!! I CAN HAVE A SHOWER WHENEVER I WANT!!! COULD I BEEEE ANY HAPPIER?! Well yes, but that just isn't going to happen, so I'll be content with having my own place. OMG OMG OMG!!! I'm going to be LIVING ON MY OWN!!! What I've wanted for years is coming true! To tell the truth, I'm a little scared, I mean, this is going to be very different. And if I screw up my life, I'll only have myself to blame. It will be hard, but I'm going to do it. ... *grin* When will this happen? Not sure yet, but we're getting started on making it livable this week, so I'd say soon. Probably a couple of months, 'cause as excited as I am, I'm just not quite ready at the moment. Well, that's all from me right now, ja ne all! - Mood:giddy

| OH MY GOD, GET ME OUT OF HALL'S CLASS!!! I think I've made an enemy out of a teacher on the first fucking day. It was either a) I was sitting in the wrong spot (so sue me, I was the only one he caught, but I wasn't the only one) b) I'm from Tweedsmuir (IT IS NOT A SUB-STANDARD SCHOOL YOU ASSHOLE) or c) in the class of preps I was the only one that stood out as goth. Whatever the reason, he marked me as absent and then picked on me the entire class. He picked on other kids too, poor Jag was poked by the "beating stick" because he thought he said something he actually didn't. However, he seemed to like picking on me repeatedly. I know I tend to piss people off, but geez, I just met the dude, and usually I'm fine with teachers. So mommy dearest, emotional basket-case that she is, has decided to march right up there and give him a piece of her mind (she got THE phone call). I'm so screwed. There is no way I'm going to get through a whole semester without a) swearing at the guy, b) walking out of the classroom, or c) leaping over the desks and strangling him. In other news, I have a group in video, so as long as Amanda doesn't switch out, I'll be okay in that class. French is fine. Haven't had math yet. That was my day. Going to watch anime to cool my jets. - Mood:pissed off

| Ahhh... break's almost over, time to go back to the hell hole. This semester I have socials with Hall (*gulp*), video production, French, and math (with Robyn, our first class together, yay!). No more spare, which is sad, I'll miss it, mostly the bragging rights *grin*. I'm teaching myself physics outside of school, it's going very well. Bought a book of amazon to teach myself. It's obviously for dumbasses as it even describes the multiplication sign as being a plus sign rotated 45 degrees. In anime, haven't really watched much lately. I've been going through Azumanga Daioh again. It's much funnier the second time for some reason. I just finished Hellsing a couple of minutes ago. The ending SUCKED, but other than that, very bloody, quite gothic I suppose, though it needed to be creepier, so it was pretty good. Looking forward to the new ova. In sad news, I may never get to see Princess Tutu, 'cause the one download I found has gone the way of the dodo. I read all of Forbidden Dance. It was awesome, very much like Princess Tutu (well duh, it's ballet) but focusing more on the drama aspect. I thouroughly enjoyed and am glad I managed to get ahold of it. Battlestar Galactica rocks. Now I'm the only person I know who watches that show because a) people think it's a crappy sci-fi show or b) there's too much sex and violence. Okay, my sister HATES sci-fi, absolutely loathes it. She told me if I bought BG I would be shunned. The other day, she was very desperate for something to do, so she asked if she could watch it with me. Just ten minutes in, she said "This is a really good show." It's not crappy sci-fi, yes they are in space, but there ships frankly suck, they are using phones with cords and their computers aren't even networked. And yes, there are robots, but the are cool, and they are the old models of the Cylons; the main enemy is the Cylons who look like humans. Basically, it is a drama in space, with romance (not the sappy kind, pretty hardcore), action, conspiracy, and all the good stuff. I'm not saying this to get you all to watch it, I'm just trying to correct the show's reputation. I'm going to go watch something now. Ja ne. - Mood:worried

| Yeah, I have A LOT to do this weekend. So, for a break, I asked if I could rent Interview with a Vampire. For once, mom didn't argue and drove me down. However, when we took up the dvd to the counter, we asked him to open it and check for scratches. Not only was it scratched, THERE WERE BUGS IN COCOONS. Now, beside being dangerous to your dvd player, that's just gross. So I'm downloading it now. It was amazing how many vampire movies were down there though. I have a mental list now. Hehehehe. I'm somewhat addicted to Queen of the Damned. I watch it every damn day. Gonna get the soundtrack off ebay soon.
So much to do...
Mom wants to get me Romeo and Juliet off amazon. Now I just have to convince her Macbeth is the better movie... I'm getting the first season of Battlestar Galactica tommorrow. And when Queen's Knight comes out in two weeks, obviously getting that. And DaVinci Code. And some weird and random book, haven't decided which yet. Ah yes, and my collection of Forbidden Dance is on its way. Am I bragging? No, I'm just... happy ^^.
Damn homework...
So, I'm supposed to be reading Cuckoo's Nest about now. *sigh* I really don't think it's going to happen. There are no: vampires, magic, swordfights, dark and creepy stuff, romances, angsty depressed guys, funky outfits... just really not my type of thing. It's reality. REALITY. Geez, I liked Lord of the Flies better. At least that had violence (what? I have issues) and a tropical island. I have a thing for tropical islands.
First issue of the newspaper is out now. It's beautiful. However, something happened that's related to it that makes me want to jump off a very high bridge. Or push a certain person off. Then all my problems would be over.
My project is staring at me... fuck off. *sigh* no, I lose, back to drawing placental mammals. Haha, if you were at my party you'd get it, but you weren't, so that's just too bad.
Ja ne, and ENJOY your anime! - Mood:bitchy
